12 Gage Photography: Beginners Workshop
All you need is a digital camera and a good attitude! Join me at a beautiful outdoor venue and learn about light, shutter speed and aperture. Then the best part is applying what you've learned by capturing nature, including fall sunflowers. Cost: $120.

About the event
I am so excited to host my first workshop! If you've ever worked with me, you know I am very laid back and I shoot my subjects very naturally. My goal for this workshop is to create confidence in camera settings, understanding of natural light, and posing subjects.
We will have a limited number of seats for this first workshop. The first hour will include me covering the content in the workbook. There will be tables and chairs provided. Bring a pen and be ready to take notes on the workbook I provide. I will be covering the basics of camera settings: ISO, Shutter Speed and Aperture.
The second hour will be all of us walking to the sunflower field and taking the knowledge we learned and applying it. Seeing firsthand how just a few changes in camera settings can change the look and clarity of your photo is the very best way to learn, in my opinion. This will be a creative and fun way to familiarize yourself with your camera.
