I’m Katie- a homeschool (and travel baseball) mom who loves hiking and kayaking and camping with her husband and son. I’ve been a professional photographer for 13 years and counting. It never gets old finding new ways to make your family laugh and enjoy the moment.

That one moment when the senior mom standing behind me gasps and starts wiping away tears.

The other moment when a couple is watching their kids play ring around the Rosie and they can’t believe how big and capable their kids are.

And the mom the groom who goes from crying to laughing during her dance with her son and I capture all of the emotions that flood her in that 3 min song.

That’s what I’m here to create and capture. Real, human emotions that can be enjoyed forever.

My favorite sessions are outdoors. I specialize in off camera flash but I shoot natural lighting also. I do not own a studio so if you prefer a studio session, I will be happy to rent one in the area.
